Success
It's quite easy to get reservations online.
Hard to get people in, a lot of no-shows; can't check people's intentions.
Even if visitors change their mind about initial choice, they often find a match.
Once people visit, the probability of adoption increases by half.
Hard to predict whether an adult animal would fit in, and returns are sometimes hard to do.
Shelter
Have to spend a lot of time on listings, especially if looking for a particular breed/feature.
Registering and arranging a visit is quire tiring and time-consuming.
Would like more flexible terms to reduce risks and minimise negativity if the new pet doesn't fit in.
Happy with the experience - more clarity in persion, enjoy meeting pets.
Would be happy to stay in touch with the shelter and give occasional updates, as well as donate or volunteer.
