Tilda Publishing
A brand and visual identity of a web publishing platform
Tilda Publishing is a web platform that allows to make microsites, blogs, landings. It allows to make impressive material display with high quality layouts and magazine-like typography. Tilda has been developed at FNKPNK studio, lead by Nikita Obukhov. I created the name, visual identity, and interface.
The two key graphic elements are the letter T modified to resemble tilde, and waves, borrowed from postmarks (association with excitement of receiving post mail).
"Tilda" is Russian for "Tilde", a typographic character of narrow use and increased elegance. It also reads as short name for Matilda, which gives the brand some personality.
I also designed some promo materials. The stickers feature horizontal lines which symbolize linear reading. The separate words set on them simplify rapid reading, and can be interpreted as "read between the lines" metaphor.
Badges are being spread amongst Tilda friends
The Diamond of Publishing badge is given to permanent Tilda users who publish quality materials and contribute to the culture of web publishing.
The Diamond of Publishing badge for the most active and successful web publishers
The exclusive Tilda poster for friends or for promotional placement in creative institutions.
User Interface
Apart from branding, I also designed the interface of the dashboard, settings, and login pages,
and made explanatory illustrations for the Tour.
